City seeks input about downtown

The city of Waupaca’s Downtown Visioning Committee continues to work on developing and promoting the downtown area, particularly Main Street.

The committee sees these efforts as crucial in further defining the area, the heart of the Waupaca community and in continuing to foster a variety of successful businesses in the area.

The city invites residents to visit City Hall, where information about the Downtown Visioning Committee has been posted in the lobby between City Hall and the Waupaca Area Public Library.

In addition to updates about the work done thus far, the city looks forward to receiving comments and input from residents.

People have the opportunity to voice their ideas about what they believe is needed downtown on the “Downtown Waupaca should…” board in the lobby between City Hall and the library.

The input will be brought to the attention of committee members during the next scheduled meeting, which is Monday, Aug. 25.

For more information about the update or to get involved, visit City Hall or contact Brennan Kane, community cevelopment director at [email protected] or 715-942-9904.
