Allan G. Zielke of Ogdensburg, age 69, passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2014.
He was born in Waupaca on June 10, 1945. Allan was a veteran of the Vietnam Conflict, serving in the Marines. He worked at Waupaca Pallet for 20 years and more recently for Waupaca Taxi.
He will be sadly missed by his children: Paula (Paul) Durrant, Gina (Ken) Van Maastricht, Robert Zielke of Denver, CO; Samone (Curtis) Weed; nine grandchildren: Tonya (Chuck) Heiling of TN, Amber Durrant, Dustin (Kimberly) Durrant, Brittany (Daniel) Gilbert, Richard (Kristin) Groholski, Devon (Jess) Frederickson, Lynnette Anderson, Cody (Eve) Anderson, Rosy; 13 great-gandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, brother, Jerry Zielke; sister-in-law, Kandi Zielke, along with several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Viola (Lind) Zielke and brothers, Robert and Chuck Zielke.
The Graveside Service with military honors will be on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Park Cemetery in Ogdensburg. A celebration of life will be held after the graveside services at 100 Moore Street in Ogdensburg. The Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
