Theft in 1100 block of Mill Street, New London.

• Sept. 21 – Pistol and checkbook stolen in 1300 block of Stone Ridge Road, Waupaca.

• Sept. 21 – Theft in 400 block of West Union Street, Waupaca.

• Sept. 21 – Harassing text messages received in E20000 block of State Highway 54, Waupaca.

• Sept. 21 – Shoplifting in 2000 block of Farm Drive, Waupaca.

• Sept. 21 – Corn field vandalized in N1100 block of County Road X, Weyauwega.

• Sept. 21 – Vandalism in 600 block of Union Street, Manawa.

• Sept. 15 – Theft in 600 block of South Mary Street, Weyauwega.

• Sept. 11 – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 4 p.m. in the town of Mukwa.

Jack Babcock, 87, of New London, was making a left turn from a stop sign at the intersection of Broadway Street and County Road X.

As Bobcock proceeded, his vehicle entered the path of a westbound vehicle driven by Cody Lind, 26, of Weyauwega. Lind told police he was unable to avoid a collision when the other vehicle pulled out in front of him.

Lind and his passenger, Natalie Johnson, 20, of Weyauwega, were injured.

• Sept. 3 – Two people were injured in a three-vehicle accident at about 1 p.m. in the town of Lebanon.

David Flease, 62, of New London, was driving southbound on U.S. Highway 45 when the trailer he was towing came unattached from his vehicle.

The trailer entered the northbound lanes of traffic and struck a vehicle driven by Rocio Lopez, 29, of New London, and then struck a vehicle driven by Cheryl Carpenter, 28, of Shawano.

Lopez and her passenger, Nataly Lopez, 4, of New London, were injured in the incident.

According to the police report, the trailer appeared to have been latched onto the Flease vehicle and secured to the appropriate sized ball with a bolt going through the latch. The police report indicated that the safety chains were not attached to the Flease vehicle.
