Rosenheim, Jeanette Mae

Jeanette Mae Rosenheim passed away on October 3, 2014 at Waukesha Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.

Jeanette was born on December 31, 1930 in the Town of Belle Plaine to Gordon and Alvina Meyer. She grew up in Clintonville Wisconsin and moved to Milwaukee upon graduating from Clintonville High School in 1948. There she worked for the Wisconsin Restaurant Association as a secretary and met and married Donald Rosenheim on July 5, 1952. The couple lived in Milwaukee where Jeanette was a stay-at-home mom until 1964. She then worked as a secretary for the Milwaukee Public School System for 28 years until her retirement in 1992. Jeanette and Donald would often travel to Hawaii to visit her step-daughter Carol. Jeanette enjoyed playing cards especially poker and sheepshead with family and friends. She loved watching Packer games and occasionally winning jackpots at the local casinos. She loved to visit with family and friends and was especially proud of her only granddaughter Hilary. 

She is survived by: her son John (Janice) Rosenheim of Clintonville, WI; step-daughter Carol Samson (Phil, deceased), of Honolulu, HI; granddaughter Hilary Rosenheim, (fiancé Jessie Ellner) Cleveland, OH; brother Leroy (Virginia) Meyer of Clintonville, WI; sister Donna Wait (David, deceased), of Port St. Luci, FL; sister Sharon Lange (Ron, deceased) of Clintonville, WI; brother Gary (Twyla) Meyer of Chapleau Ontario Canada; brother Allan (Donna) Meyer of Appleton, WI and special friend and caregiver Yvonne Camacho of Waukesha, WI. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Donald of 56 years; her brother Roger Meyer (Golrianne), of Menasha, WI; her brother Gordon Meyer (Joyce) of Watertown, WI and her brother David Meyer (Shirley) of Beaver Dam, WI. 

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 10, 2014 at Family of Christ Church, Clintonville with the Rev. Richard Vanman officiating. Entombment will take place at Wisconsin Memorial Park in Brookfield, WI. Visitation will take place from 9:30 a.m. at the church until the time of the service. A lunch will be served immediately following the service. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting her family with the arrangements.
