Bail jumping charged

Mark A. Boogren, 45, Clintonville, is charged with felony bail jumping.

On Saturday, May 17, Boogren was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving

On Tuesday, May 20, he appeared in court for a probable cause hearing and was subsequently charged with a seventh drunken driving offense. Judge Raymond Huber set a $2,000 cash bond as a condition of his release from custody.

On May 28, Judge Philip Kirk continued the cash bond after Boogren appeared in court.

On June 3, Kirk amended the cash bond to a $2,000 signature bond with the condition that Boogren not consume any alcohol and participate in the Soberlink program.

With Soberlink, a participant blows into a wireless monitoring device that sends reports on breath-alcohol levels to law enforcement.

On Aug. 4, Soberlink indicated Boogren had a 0.038 breath-alcohol level, according to the criminal complaint.

The district attorney’s office charged Boogren with bail jumping on Sept. 26.

He appeared in court on Oct. 1 and was released from custody on a $2,000 signature bond with the condition that he comply with the Soberlink program.
