Angela Hanson will fill the position of .75 FTE business manager for the School District of Manawa.

Hanson received a bachelor of business degree with an emphasis in marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.

She has had active involvement in a number of community organizations to include: 4-H general leader, Girl Scout leader, past president of Manawa Lions Club, past treasurer of Manawa Chamber of Commerce, and past treasurer of St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Most recently, Hanson was employed by BMO Harris Bank in Clintonville as a branch manager and more recently as a mortgage banker. She has also worked as a personal banker at Chase Bank in Appleton and as branch manager of Baylake Bank in Manawa.

Hanson was a teacher’s aide in the 4-year-old kindergarten program in 2009-10 and a substitute teacher for the Manawa School District for two years.

“Mrs. Hanson’s references indicate that she is prepared and submits required paperwork comfortably ahead of deadlines,” said District Administrator Melanie Oppor. “She establishes a nice rapport with her clients and direct reports that sets them at ease.”

“Mrs. Hanson is described as kind, considerate, and personable,” she said. “She does a nice job of coaching and offering feedback to her direct reports and is also a coachable person who is open to new ideas, eager to continue to grow and become more skilled in her profession, and consistently displays a positive ‘can do’ attitude.”

Hanson’s anticipated start date is Monday, Oct. 13.
