Schoenheide, Colette

Colette S. Schoenheide, age 67, passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at St. Joseph Residence, New London, after a long battle with kidney disease. 

The former Colette Shelda Koelbl was born on December 26, 1946 in New London to Kilian and Phoebe (Lehman) Koelbl. She was united in marriage on November 8, 1969 to Gerald A. Schoenheide at St. Rose Catholic Church, Clintonville. The couple lived in the Appleton area for several years before returning to Clintonville where she spent the greater part of her life. Colette loved every minute she could spend with her grandsons and family. She also enjoyed playing computer games, going to the Bluebird Café to spend time with friends, and most of all Colette loved her cats. 

Survivors include: a son, Gerald (special friend Peggy Spaulding) Schoenheide of Bear Creek, and two grandsons, Kilian and Mark Schoenheide. She is also survived by a brother, Mark (Penny) Koelbl of Clintonville; three sisters, Jean (Denny) Burch of Zellwood, FL; Patricia (Greg) Aschenbrenner of Beaver Dam, and Karen (Steve) Meyer of Great Falls, MT. Colette is further survived by two sisters-in-law, Della Koelbl of Clintonville and Donna (Jerry) Milbauer of Shawano, and two brothers-in-law, Ken (Kathy) Schoenheide of Bear Creek and Robert (Donna) Schoenheide of Waupun, many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gerald on Nov. 5, 2004, and her brother, Joseph. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 18th at 3:00 PM at the Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville. Deacon Lincoln Wood will officiate and burial will follow at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Bear Creek. Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 noon until time of service at the funeral home.
