• Oct. 2 – A man was injured in a one-vehicle accident at about 8 a.m. in the town of Bear Creek.
An eastbound driver, Chris Quaintance, 41, of Bonduel, told police he swerved to miss a milk truck that was pulling out of a driveway in the E9100 block of Bear Creek Road.
The operator of the milk truck told police he was stopped in the driveway backed up when he saw the cement truck drive by and crash. A witness also reported that the milk truck was stopped in the driveway when he heard the other vehicle crash.
Quaintance was transported to the hospital for possible injuries.
