Ware Street slated to be closed

Ware Street near Gusmer Enterprises in Waupaca will be closed Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 20-21, for railroad crossing work.

Canadian National Railroad has notified Waupaca’s Public Works Department that immediate safety-related work is needed at the Ware Street mainline railroad crossing.

This emergency repair work is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Monday and is expected to be completed by early Tuesday evening, weather permitting. 

Road closed signs will be installed at the railroad crossing and advance warning advisory signs placed at the Oborn Street and Tower Road intersections with Ware Street.
