The 25-15, 25-18, 25-20 wins means the Indians posted an 11-0 record in CWC-8 matches during the season.

“The girls played well and played relaxed tonight with everyone off the bench contributing to the win,” coach Rena Tomaszewski said. Team leaders included Jordan Krause (20 assists, seven service points); Becky Schroeder (10 kills); Rachel Knorr (two block kills);

Courtney Gorges (13 digs, 10 service points, three aces); and Karissa Akey (seven service points).

Weyauwega-Fremont received a No. 2 seed in its Division 3 regional for the state tournament.

W-F opened tournament play at home Oct. 21 against Amherst. If the Indians eliminated the Falcons, they will host No. 3 Rosholt or No. 6 Menasha St. Mary Central at 7 tonight (Thursday, Oct. 23) in a regional semifinal. Regional finals are scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 25.
