Winneconne eliminates Waupaca

Close, but not quite.

Winneconne ended the Waupaca volleyball team’s season Oct. 23 by taking three of five games from the Comets in a Division 2 regional semifinal.

Waupaca, a No. 5 seed in its WIAA state tournament bracket, opened the postseason Oct. 21 by sweeping Lomira.
