Neuman, Calvin J.

Calvin “Buster” “Dopey” J. Neuman, of Waupaca, age 88, passed away at home on November 7, 2014. 

He was born in Waupaca on February 21, 1926 to the late Calvin and Mable (Buckholt) Neuman. On June 30, 1951 he married Jeanne Jensen. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the Army. He was employed as a carpenter at the Wisconsin Veterans Home for over 30 years. Buster enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the VFW since 1953 and was commander for Post 1464 for 34 years. 

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Jeanne; son, Roger A. Neuman of Waupaca; daughter, Kim (Terry) Schroeder of Almond; four grandchildren: Jessica Schroeder , Mike (Kari) Schroeder, Katie Neuman, and Jacob Neuman; four great-grandchildren: Austin Broker, Madisen Page Schroeder, Dakota Skye Schroeder and Brooklyn Raine Schroeder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Vernice (Americo) Rochetti and brother, Kenneth (Donna) Neuman. 

The Memorial Service will be on Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. Friends and family may call on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King. A memorial has been established.
