The Iola Lioness Club sponsored a Christmas Parade, Santa Visit and a program with entertainer David Dahl on Saturday, Dec. 6.
After the parade in downtown Iola, children and their families were invited to meet Santa and listen to stories at the Iola Historical Society.
There were lots of treats and children had a chance to sit on Santa’s lap and tell him their heart’s desire. T
More than 80 children went home h full of anticipation for the “big day.”
Helping the Lioness with the event were the Iola Historical Society, Iola-Scandinavia Chamber of Commerce and the Iola Lions Club.
