Manawa man charged with burglary

Peter J. Klotzbuecher, 30, Manawa, is charged with burglary and theft.

On Dec. 7, Deputy Patrick McClone spoke with Klotzbuecher’s brother who reported that four buckets of scrap copper wiring, each weighing at least 40 pounds, had been stolen from his mother’s home in the town of Union. The brother said he found the empty buckets in Klotzbuecher’s car.

He also said Klotzbuecher was not allowed on the property because he has a history of stealing from his family.

McClone contacted Napuck Salvage of Waupaca, where records indicated that Klotzbucher sold 193 pounds of scrap copper for $406 between Aug. 8 and Nov. 30, 2014.
