Beverly J. Walbruck, age 86 of Weyauwega, died unexpectedly at Riverside Hospital early Thursday morning, January 1, 2015.
Beverly was born in the Town of Lebanon on March 31, 1928, the daughter of Frank and Pearl (Stanley) Thurston. In 1945, Beverly married Hubert Tohm. He preceded her in death in 1959. In April of 1964, she married Harold Walbruck, celebrating 50 years of marriage. Beverly worked as a LPN at King Veterans Home in King for several years while farming with her husband her entire life. She was a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church, Manawa.
Beverly is survived by her husband, Harold; son, Bill (Barb) Tohm; son-in-law, Jack Roenz; grandchildren, Bill Jr. Tohm, Donald (Kara) Tohm, Christopher Tohm, Amy (Shane) Seif, and Matthew (Jennifer) Roenz. She is further survived by 12 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Hubert; daughter, Gwen Roenz; sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Ervin Richter; and great-grandchild, Brooklyn Roenz.
A memorial service for Beverly will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 9, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church (157 N. Bridge St.) Manawa, with Pastor Tom Theama officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather directly at church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Little Wolf Cemetery, Town of Little Wolf. The Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home is serving the family.
