The Amherst Falcons and the Manawa Wolves were almost evenly matched up during the first quarter
of play in the Central Wisconsin 8 Conference boys basketball match up held in Manawa on Friday,
The Falcons had a 10-9 lead after the first quarter, but came back strong in the second, out-scoring
Manawa 16-8, sending them to the locker room with a 26-17 lead in the game.
Amherst proved to be too much for the Wolves in the second half, out-scoring Manawa 31-18, giving the Falcons a 57-35 victory.
Tyler Biadasz led the scoring for the Falcons with 24 points, followed by Garrett Groshek with 14.
Brandon Radloff topped the scoring for Manawa with 11, followed by Andrew Mauritz with 8.
Manawa will travel to Weyauwega-Fremont on January 27 to take on the Indians at 7:30 pm.
