Armed robbery in Clintonville

Schroeder Shell in Clintonville was robbed at gunpoint at 1:15 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 4.

Clintonville police say the suspect is a white male, wearing a green hooded winter jacket, gloves, and camouflage face mask. 

The suspect displayed a large handgun when he entered the store and demanded money from the clerk. The suspect fled through the rear door with an undisclosed amount of cash that was removed from the cash register. 

Officers from the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Department and Marion Police Department also responded. A search dog was used to attempt to track the suspect. 

Some items of evidence were recovered during the search of the area, according to the Clintonville police. Security video is also being obtained.

The investigation is ongoing.
