Ruth M. Larson, age 95, of the Town of Lind, Waupaca County, went to her heavenly home on Friday, February 6, 2015 at Bethany Home in Waupaca.
She was born on March 30, 1919 in the Town of Lind, daughter of the late Emil and Wilhelmina (Pagel) Anklam. On June 25, 1939 she was united in marriage to Arvin Larson at Emmaus Lutheran Church, Town of Lind. He preceded her in death on October 15, 1996. Ruth and Arvin farmed in the Town of Lind all their life. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and being a homemaker. She was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church and their Ladies Aid in the Town of Lind. She was also a member of the Homemakers Club for many years.
Ruth is survived by a son, Lee (Betty) Larson, Weyauwega; three grandchildren: Elizabeth (Lyle) Hraby, Medford; Susan Larson, Waupaca; Michael (Meaghan) Larson, Las Vegas, NV; five great-grandchildren: Isabella, Jacob, Connor, Paul and Liam; a sister-in-law, Madge Brunover, Oshkosh. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter Karalee Berglund, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Clarence and Lucile Marks, Arden and Lucille Larson, Ilene Larson, Kenneth and Luella Larson, and William Brunover.
The funeral service for Ruth will be held on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Emmaus Lutheran Church, Town of Lind, (N180 County Road A), with Rev. H. William Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Lind Center Cemetery, Town of Lind. A visitation for Ruth will be held directly at the church on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. The Cline-Hanson-Dahlke Funeral Home is serving the family.
