Hortonville approves Gardan expansion

The Hortonville Village Board unanimously approved an expansion of another manufacturing firm in the village’s industrial park. The approval came at its regular meeting Thursday, Feb. 19.

Gardan Enterprises will add 12,000 sq. feet to its existing 18,000 sq. foot facility located at 221 Industrial Park Avenue.

This is the second expansion of a business located in the industrial park in the past three months.

Piping Systems Inc. announced a major expansion of its facility on 719 Industrial Park Avenue in late October.

The estimated construction cost of the Gardan Enterprises expansion is $350,000.

“This is certainly good news for the village and for our TIF district,” said Hortonville Village President Andrew Gitter.

Board members approved the preliminary plans, stating that the proposed addition meets the requirements of the industrial park covenants.

Gardan Enterprises is a leading contract assembly and packaging resource in Wisconsin with locations in Hortonville and Brillion. It also specializes in sourcing; wire processing, procurement, inventory management and distribution. It serves clients in the Midwest, U.S. and North America.
