Hansen Furniture, Appliance and Flooring Center was selected as the best in three different categories.
Readers voted Hansen the Best Furniture Store, Best Applaince Store and Best Carpet and Flooring Store.
Part of Waupaca since 1970, the original business, which was a TV and appliance store owned by Carl and Bev Hansen.
Tim Angsten, his father Robert and brother Mike purchased the business in 1977.
“We opened the new store on West Fulton in 1992,” said Angsten. “And we added furniture.”
According to Angsten, the business is a full-line, full-service, Furniture, appliance and flooring store.
“We specialize in excellent customer service and that can’t happen without an experienced staff that is committed to our customers like ours,” he said.” Many on our team have been with us 20 to 38 years. Mary and I are so fortunate to have this great group of people to work with.”
Angsten noted that the best part about being chosen as the Best of Waupaca is that their customers and the community voted.
“After all, it is only because of them that we are able to do what we do,” he said. “We very much appreciate the acknowledgement.”
Hansen Furniture, Appliance and Flooring Center prides itself in community involvement as well.
“We have always been very much connected with the community,” Angsten said. “For nearly 20 years, we have sponsored a golf outing to benefit Waupaca Area Special Olympics, supported WAYHA, Waupaca Fine Arts, Waupaca Rotary, Cap Services, Tomorrows Children Foundation, Bread Basket, Miracle Tree and the Waupaca County Humane Society, as well as many other benefits.”
Angsten invited everyone to come to Hansen Furniture, Appliance and Flooring Center on Sunday, March 15, to see the finished product of their remodeling.
