Fremont police reported finding a 43-year-old man dead at his apartment on 397 Jefferson St. in the village of Fremont at 2:45 a.m. Friday.
Officers were called out to the apartment in response to a domestic-related stabbing.
A 43-year-old Fremont woman is being questioned by authorities and considered a person of interest.
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, the Fremont Police Department, the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation and the Waupaca County coroner are investigating the incident.
No names have been released yet.
