The Waupaca Middle School Music Department will present Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast JR” in April.
One-hundred students will be part of the performance.
The students began rehearsals in February, with performances slated for Monday, April 13; Thursday, April 16; and Friday, April 17.
All performances will begin at 7:30 p.m., in the school’s Gerald C. Knoepfel Auditorium.
Under the direction of Laurel Leder and Shana Rogney, the cast and crew are also being assisted by Lori Jungers, Molly Doray (choreography) and Steve Wilson (dramatic fight scenes).
This year’s show will mark the 11th year the middle school has presented a musical.
Since the first show, “Bugsy Malone, Jr.” in 2004, the students have performed annually for members of the community.
Tickets for this year’s show are $5, with no charge for children age 3 and younger.
People may call 715-305-2012 to order tickets.
Tickets may also be purchased at the door on performance nights.
