Tanner Meyer had a big day for Manawa’s boys’ track team March 19 in a season-opening indoor meet in Oshkosh.
Meyer won the Division 3 60-meter dash with a time of 7.62 seconds at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Invitational.
Also placing for the Wolves were the 1,600-meter relay team, fifth; Daniel Teuscher, fifth in the long jump and sixth in the triple jump; Ethan Hass, tied for seventh in the long jump, seventh in the 400-meter dash and eighth in the triple jump; and Austin Wagner, eighth in the 60-meter hurdles.
Manawa finished eighth among Division 3 teams and 14th overall.
The Manawa girls will open their season Tuesday, March 31, at UW-Oshkosh,
