Donald Fronczak of Waupaca, age 88, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Wisconsin Veterans Home.
He was born in Milwaukee on April 12, 1926. Don was a veteran of the US Army, serving in Korea. He owned and operated Don’s Body Shop in Waupaca. Upon retirement he and his wife moved to Park Falls, WI where he spent many of his days fishing. He also liked to hunt and tend his garden. He will be sadly missed by: his wife, Lucille of Waupaca; sons: Arlen of Glidden, Marlin of Fremont, and Derwin of Weyauwega; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a son, Allen; brothers and a sister.
The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. The visitation will be on Tuesday at the funeral home from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King. Fisherman’s Prayer- Unknown. I pray that I may live to fish, Until my dying day. And when it comes to my last cast, I then most humbly pray: When in the Lord’s great landing net, And peacefully asleep, That in His mercy I be judged Big enough to keep.
