W-F FFA members attend conferences

Some members of the Weyauwega-Fremont FFA Chapter attended the Wisconsin EDGE Conference, while other members attended the FFA 212? Conference.

Both conferences were held March 20 and 21 in Eau Claire.

Austin Krause, Jenna La Mie and Brenton Wardall attended the Wisconsin EDGE conference, which is a personal development conference designed especially for junior high and middle school students in the FFA organization.

“EDGE” stands for Experiencing, Discovery, Growth and Excellence, and the conference was designed to help students learn how they can develop and maintain a positive outlook on life, deal with negative peer pressures and motivate themselves and others.

This year’s theme was “The Attitude Experience.”

Ryan Ebert, Courtney Gorges, Raelyn Schalkowski, Louis Knecht, Morgan Folk and Cole Hudziak attended the FFA 212? Conference.

The conference was a two-day personal development seminar designed for freshmen and sophomores in the FFA organization.

It focused on taking students to the boiling point of leadership.

The conference’s theme was “Virtues and Growth,” and it challenged students to push the limits.
