Students in grades 6-8 competed in a rigorous contest of mathematics skills. The contest was held on February 24.

This year’s Clintonville Middle School’s seventh grade team placed third among 42 other schools in Wisconsin. Holden Young’s score of 29 was fourth highest in the state.

The seventh grade team placed first in its region Brown, Calumet, Sheboygan, Washington, Waupaca, and Winnebago.

The following student’s scores combined to contribute to Clintonville’s mathematics success. In parenthesis indicates their individual place in the state: Holden Young (4th), Caitlin Huber (8th), Dylan Danforth (11th), Jarren Wilke and Katie Lamberies (tied for 24th).

They will receive a plaque in June to recognize their talent and hard work.
