Waupaca picked up a pair of Eastern Valley Conference baseball wins over Little Chute and Xavier.
The Comets knocked off Little Chute 8-3 May 15 and scored twice in the seventh inning May 14 in a 6-4 win over the Hawks.
Little Chute opened the scoring with two runs in the top of the first, but the Comets took the lead for good with three in the first, two in the second and one in the fourth.
Little Chute cut the lead to 6-3 with a run in the fifth, but the Comets came up with two more in the bottom half of the inning.
The Comets outhit the Mustangs 11-3. Little Chute also committed six errors and stranded nine runners.
In the Xavier game in Appleton, both teams scored a run in the first inning and the Comets added two more in the second and one in the third.
The Hawks tied the game with three runs in the sixth, but Waupaca took a 5-4 lead in the seventh on a bases-loaded hit batter and another run on a balk.
