Larry T. Haehnlein, Iola, Wisconsin, age 72, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at his home in Iola, WI.
He was born December 22, 1943 in Cape Girardeau, MO, son of Herbert and Mae Lucille (Bush) Haehnlein. On April 16, 1991, Larry married Julie K. Spencer in Sandwich, IL. He enjoyed shooting pool, doing model cars with his boys, fishing, going to the races, family cookouts, road trips, and more. Larry loved spending time with his children, grandchildren, and with his best friend, Maggie, his dog. He will be deeply missed by all of his loving family and many friends.
Larry is survived by: wife, Julie Haehnlein of Plover, WI; children: Joe Haehnlein of Waupaca, WI; Mikayla (John) Ewing of Waupaca, WI; Jerry Haehnlein Jr. of Berlin, WI; James Haehnlein of Plover, WI; Jedediah Haehnlein of Iola, WI; Jacob Haehnlein of Waupaca, WI; Meaghanne Haehnlein of Waupaca, WI; Morghanne Haehnlein of Plover, WI; Jack Haehnlein of Plover, WI; step-daughter, Michelle Smoot of Stevens Point, WI; grandchildren: Marandah, Haileigh, Drayke, and Claire; brothers, Jim (Sharron) Haehnlein of Cleveland, TN; Bobby of MO; and a sister, Helen Scholz of Whitewater, MO. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, Herbert and Clara Haehnlein; his mother, Mae Lucille Haehnlein; and a son, Lawerance Haehnlein.
A Memorial Service will be on Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Victory Church in Waupaca. Pastor Philip Thompson and Pastor Adin Crandall will officiate. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
