A three-month investigation has led to felony drug charges against Sholawna M. Gunter, 35, Waupaca.
Gunter is charged with two counts of delivery of a nonnarcotic drug and two counts each of felony and misdemeanor bail jumping.
According to the criminal complaint, Gunter sold six Suboxone pills for $70 to an undercover agent working with the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, the Waupaca Police Department and the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation.
She allegedly made a similar sale to an undercover agent on April 24.
Suboxone is a prescription drug used to treat opiate addiction and withdrawal.
Investigators say Sholawna received the drug through a clinic, then sold it for cash or traded it for heroin.
Gunter was out on a $200 signature bond after being charged on Dec. 8, 2014, in Portage County with felony retail theft.
