Diamond Cats split games

Clintonville Legion team defeats Manawa, loses to Antigo

The Clintonville Legion baseball team defeated Manawa 13-0 in five and half innings on Monday, June 22.

The Diamond Cats shelled out 14 hits in the game.

Parker Mindel went 4 for 4 with four RBI and two runs. Zac Riemer went 3 for 4 with one RBI and three runs. Nick Hogan went 2 for 3 with three BRI and one run. Hunter Vollmer went 1 for 3 with two RBI and two runs. Chad Bork went 2 for 3 with one run.

Jaden Doornick went 1 for 2 with two runs. Jorden Koeppen and Damon Lorge combined for three more RBI’s.

Antigo 8, Clintonville 4
Clintonville fell short at home against Antigo on Thursday June 25.

Antigo jumped out to an early lead in the second inning.

Diamond Cat scoring efforts in the first, fourth, and fifth innings were not enough to overcome the deficit in the game.

Parker Mindel went 2 for 3 with one RBI. Nick Hogen went 1 for 2 with one RBI and one run. Jaden Doornick went 1 for 3 with one RBI and one run. Kyle Finger went 1-2 and Zac Riemer went 1 for 4.
