Betty Louise Domask, age 82, of Scandinavia, died Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Crystal River Nursing & Rehab Center in Waupaca.
Betty was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on May 3, 1933, the daughter of the late Alfred and Louise (Podevels) Roeglin. She married Jerome Domask on Oct 29, 1960 in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on Nov 13, 2002. Betty enjoyed bowling for the Little Norway team at Silver Lake Lanes. She also enjoyed feeding the birds, gardening, going to the casino and spending time with her family and friends. She was a very positive person and will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by daughter, Gwen (Dave) Wilde of Waupaca; sons, Curt (fiancée Carol) Domask of Waupaca and Caleb (fiancée Brittany) Domask of Iola. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren along with nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome; daughter, Robin Ovenshire; two sisters and four brothers.
Funeral Service will be held at Voie Funeral Home in Iola at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14th, with Reverend Mark E. Sabin officiating. Visitation will be held Tuesday 9:30 -11 a.m. at Voie Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scandinavia Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Scandinavia, Wisconsin.
The family would like to thank Dr. Charles Rathjen for the many years of care and compassion and the staff at Crystal River Nursing & Rehab Center for the excellent care provided to Betty while she was a resident.
