Victor LeNoble stands beside his 1890s vintage Chandler and Taylor stationary steam engine at the Union Thresheree. The engine last ran in the Lee Boldig Saw Mill near Bowler around 1975. LeNoble purchased the engine and it sat on his farm for nearly 35 years. Last fall he and his family restored the engine. Recently they attached it to a Ford dump truck frame to make it portable.
