W-F students present ‘Cinderella’

Summer Drama musical opens Thursday, Aug. 6

Weyauwega-Fremont Summer Drama will present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Cinderella” at 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday, Aug. 6 and 7 and 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, in the high school auditorium.

Tickets will be available at the door only, at a cost of $3 for adults and $1 for students.

Concessions will be available to support the music and drama departments.

The musical, under the direction of James McConnell, involves W-F students who are entering fourth through ninth grades this fall.

The cast features Kiley Stevenson as Cinderella; Ashley Loehrke as the Godmother; Clairyssa Mahaney as the Stepmother; Anna Meyer as Stepsister Portia; Cora Lederer as Stepsister Joy; Alex Lederer as the Prince; Patrick Runge as the King; Saylor Alberts as the Queen; Logan Foster as the Herald; and Josh Barnett as the Chef.

It also includes Hannah Timm, Brooklyn Billington and Alicia Lederhaus as Stewards; Matthew Zeichert as the Coachman; Brayden Grimm as the Footman; Keira DeWilde, Natasha Timm, Hannah Timm and Lauren Feltz as White Horses; and Matthew Zeichert, Alicia Lederhaus, Hannah Timm, Natasha Timm, Keira DeWilde, Alicia Lederhaus, Taren Zietlow, Bridget Wagner, Brooklyn Billington, Lauren Feltz and Brayden Grimm as the Townspeople.

Kathleen McConnell is the assistant director, and John Michels is the sound manager.
The dance captains are Brooklyn Billington and Josh Barnett.

Steven Billington is the assistant stage manager, and Dylon Runge and Twyla Alix are the stage crew.

The stage design was handled by Lori Koeller Sapp, Robert Lederer, Greg Barnett and Ed Stiner.

Elisha Barnett, Janice Stiner, Shari Foster, Sarah Lederer, Cheri Billington and Kim Stevenson handled costumes and props.
