A head-on collision shortly before 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 7, in rural Bear Creek left three people injured.
Dustin Doman, 18, Bear Creek, was northbound on U.S. Highway 45, about one-quarter mile south of Silver Creek Road. He crossed the center line into the path of of a southbound vehicle driven by Beth Hutchison, 40, Clintonville, According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office.
Bear Creek firefighters extricated Doman from his vehicle with the Jaws of Life. Doman was transported to the ThedaCare Medical Center in New London where he was treated for incapacitating injuries.
Hutchison and her almost 5-year-old passenger were also taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.
U.S. 45 was closed for about 1 1/2 hours as a result of the crash.
