New London girls’ tennis team improves record to 5-3
For area tennis players, school may have started last week but the tennis season is already halfway over. The Bulldogs will play two more home matches: one on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 4 p.m. against West De Pere, and the other Thursday, Sept. 17 at 4 p.m. against Fox Valley Lutheran.

NEW LONDON – The girls landed a strong win at their first home dual of the season on Sept. 1.
Singles: Marina Solberg won 6-2, 6-0. Darlien Ramirez won 6-2, 6-0. Kate Christian won 6-0, 6-0. Zaria Beyer won 6-0, 6-2.
Doubles: Tori Blum and Kassy Hoewisch won 6-0, 6-0. Totyanna Martin and Emelia Roberts won 6-1, 6-0. Jessica Weyenberg and Hailei Schmude won 6-0, 6-0.
New London 7, Menasha 0
MENASHA – The Bulldogs came out ahead again at Menasha on Thursday, Sept. 3, although the Bluejays offered somewhat tougher competition score-wise.
Singles: Marina Solberg won 6-0, 6-0. Darlien Ramirez won 6-0, 6-0. Kate Christian won 2-6, 7-5, 10-7. Sarah Solberg won 6-4, 6-4.
