Lee, Jerry

Jerry Lee, Age 56, of Waupaca, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015, as the result of an accident.

He was born in Cudahy, WI on December 1, 1958 to Edgar and Beatrice Lee. He served with the U.S. Army for three years, where he was a wheel vehicle mechanic. Motorcycles were his passion and he was born to ride. Jerry enjoyed spending time with family, bonfires, riding go-karts, dune buggies and dirt bikes; basically anything with wheels. If a motorcycle needed fixing, he would work on it until it ran, then ride it until it didn’t. Jerry enjoyed helping others and would always lend a hand.

He will be dearly missed by his sons, Billy Joe Lee of Waupaca and Jesse Lee of Seymour; daughters, Billie Jean Lee of Stevens Point, Bobbie Sue Crossman of Waupaca and Angelina Lee of Plover. Jerry is further survived by his mother, Beatrice Lee of Waupaca; sisters Kay (Larry) Deitz of Cedar Rapids, IA and Lorene Jones of Appleton; twin sister, Jan Rolfs of Waupaca; brothers, John (Sonia) Lee of Plover and Edgar Lee of Appleton; three grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Edgar.

The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2015, at the Maple Crest Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of the service. Burial and full military honors will take place at 2:30 p.m. Monday at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery in King, WI. A memorial fund is being established in Jerry’s name.
