New London Parks and Rec event runs one night
Scares and screams will fill the woods at the one-night-only Hatten Park Haunted Trail on Friday, Oct. 30.
For younger participants looking for treats and no scares, the Trick or Treat Trail for participants 12 and under will run from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
After those participants get through, which is estimated to be around 7:15 p.m., the more terrifying Haunted Trail will run until 9 p.m.
The trails start at Hatten Park’s main shelter and cost $3 per person. Concessions will be available. The evening will be canceled in the event of poor weather.
The Haunted Trail is run by New London Parks and Recreation and New London High School’s Power of Positive Students organization. Organizers need more volunteers ages 16 and older to haunt the park that night. For more information, call 920-982-8521.
