Daul, Jodi

Jodi Daul, age 35, New London, returned to her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 4, 2015 after a valiant battle with cancer.

Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace. Jodi was born in New London on December 5, 1979 to Jack and Joan (Flease) Martin. She graduated from Little Wolf High School, Manawa in 1998 and then went on to Fox Valley Technical College earning a degree in Marketing. Jodi was united in marriage to Luke Daul on September 27, 2003 at St. Patrick’s Church in Lebanon. Jodi was passionate about the Lord and shared her love for him with her family, friends, and children in her religion classes. She enjoyed the outdoors, deer hunting, fishing, crafting with the treasures she found at yard sales and especially her family camping trips. Jodi loved gardening, canning, and gathering family and friends which she enjoyed to the fullest.

Jodi is survived by her husband Luke; children, Dillon, Sierrah and Tanner; parents, Jack and Joan; sisters, Jamie (Josh) Griffin and Jill (Josh) Brauer; mother-in-law, Connie Daul and father-in-law, Wayne (Debbie) Daul; brothers-in-law, Adam (Natosha) Daul and Kurt Daul; nephew, Ryan Griffin and nieces, Savanah, Indigo, Myah and Avah Daul; and maternal grandfather, Clair Flease. Jodi is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends. Jodi is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John Sr. and Gladys Martin and her maternal grandmother, Margie Flease.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church, New London. Visitation will be on Monday, November 9, 2015 from 4-7 p.m. at Cline and Hanson Funeral Home, New London and again on Tuesday, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service directly at the church. Burial will be in Northport Ostrander Cemetery, Town of Mukwa.

The family would like to thank the staff at Theda Clark, Appleton Medical Center, Fox Valley Hematology and Oncology and a special thank you to Dr. Guenther. Jodi’s family would especially like to thank her loving husband Luke, for the exceptional care he gave to Jodi through her courageous battle with cancer.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established.
