Plagemann, Raymond

Raymond “Ray” Plagemann, age 19, of Bear Creek passed away Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay.

Raymond Bernard Plagemann was born on March 11, 1996 at New London Hospital to Archie and Cynthia (Peeters) Plagemann. He was raised in Bear Creek and attended public school in Clintonville. Ray was a gift from God and he shared his love with countless relatives and caregivers throughout his lifetime. Ray had a wonderful and contagious smile; he liked the sound of wind chimes, watching bright flashing lights, and enjoyed listening to music. Ray touched the lives and hearts of so many and his family never let his disability slow him down.

Survivors include his parents, Archie and Cindy; three sisters, Jenny (Charlie) Jarnig of Green Bay, Heidi (Brian) Holz of Bear Creek, and Mary Wester of Manitowoc; one brother, Tim (special friend Danielle) Plagemann of Bear Creek; and his maternal grandmother, Rose Peeters of Bear Creek. There are eight nieces and nephews, Creed and Caleb Jarnig, Jada and Paige Holz, Mariah Plagemann, Alyssa and Taylor Wester, and Parker Plagemann. He is further survived by four aunts, five uncles, many other relatives and friends. Ray is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Bernard “Bernie” Peeters; his paternal grandparents, Henry and Mabel Plagemann, and an aunt, Bernadette Peeters.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bear Creek with Fr. David Barrett officiating and inurnment will be in the parish cemetery. The Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, is assisting the family.

The family wishes to thank the numerous Prevea Doctors, the St. Vincent Hospital nurses and staff, especially 6th floor critical care and the 10th floor pediatric unit for years of compassionate care provided to Ray.
