Cheesie Bob’s tickles taste buds

If you are looking for a gift that will tickle the taste buds of family and friends, pay a visit to Cheesie Bob’s Bleu Cheese House, located on the strip in King.

Owned and operated by Bob Gruenenfelder, Cheesie Bob’s has been serving the area for almost 30 years.

“The people keep me going,” Gruenenfelder said. “We’re on a first-name basis with most of our customers. We wouldn’t be the success we are today without them.”

Some of their hottest selling items include beer, snacks, chips and cheese.

“We make cheese and sausage gift boxes that we can mail anywhere in the United States,” said Martie Attoe, who works at the store. “These really make great gifts. After all, who does not like Wisconsin cheese?”

Customers have several options to choose from.

“We have many different sizes and a variety of cheeses,” Attoe said. “Some even include crackers and maple syrup as well.”

Novelty items, such as a cheddar cheese cow or mug, are also available.

When heading to a holiday party Cheesie Bob’s, also makes made to order cheese and sausage trays.

“Give us 24-hour notice and we do all the work for you,” Attoe said.

“Our customers are family,” said Gruenenfelder. “We make sure to give them our best.”

Wine, liquor and beer and also available.

“We strive for customer satisfaction,” Attoe said. “So our wine selection was made by the requests from the people we serve.”
Dubbed the biggest little store in King, you can also find a few Green Bay Packer items at Cheesie Bob’s Bleu Cheese House as well.

“We have Cheese Heads and flags,” Gruenenfelder said. “We also have a defense sign.”

“And for the lady fans we even have a cheese bra,” added Attoe.

Cheesie Bob’s Bleu Cheese House is open year round. Winter hours are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. A drive up window is available.
