Tammy Jo Pufahl, of Waupaca, age 46, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 3, 2015.
She was born in Waupaca on June 10, 1969 to Chuck and Kitty (Katz) Pufahl. Tammy graduated from Waupaca High School, where she enjoyed and was very good at running track, as well as basketball. Tammy loved her children and was a wonderful mother. She was proud of her Jewish heritage and always wore her Mezuzah or Star of David. She had a great work ethic and was always customer orientated. She loved the Harbor Bar, the sun, her Corona, her Volkswagen Beetle and Shemar Moore. Tammy enjoyed reading, especially books by Danielle Steel. She was well known for her long fingernails, as well as someone who would stand up to anyone, despite her size.
She will be sadly missed by her children: Cydney Pufahl and J.C. Colbert, parents: Chuck and Kitty Pufahl; sister: Kristy (Robert) Wenrich, good friend: Mike Marshall, other relatives and friends. The Memorial Service will be on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at 3 p.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca. Friends and family may gather on Wednesday from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
