Pacelli’s Elliott scores 51 points
A school record fell Jan. 19 at a Manawa boys’ basketball game, but it didn’t belong to the Wolves.
Jake Elliott set Pacelli’s new record with a 51-point effort in the Cardinals’ 84-48 Central Wisconsin-8 Conference win in Manawa.
Elliott hit 19 of his 27 shots from the floor and also made nine of his 11 free throws.
Pacelli led 35-23 at halftime and outscored the Wolves 49-25 in the second half.
Ethan Hass led Manawa with 12 points, while Ethan Wiesner and Jeven Sachtjen added nine and eight, respectively.
The Wolves will visit Iola-Scandinavia Friday, Jan. 22, before hosting Shiocton Friday, Jan. 29.
