The University of Wisconsin-Madison Varsity Band will perform at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, at Iola-Scandinavia High School.
T-Bird alumni John Faldet and Powers Spees, as well as Amherst Falcon alumni Zach Shulfer, will join as many as 85 members of the band to provide over 90 minutes of music and entertainment.
Proceeds from the concert will be used to enhance the K-12 music programs at Iola-Scandinavia Schools, including the kickoff to a capital project campaign to raise over $50,000 to purchase new band uniforms.
All tickets are general admission with seating available in the bleachers as well as on the gym floor level. The doors will open at 6 p.m.
The tickets are $10 in advance with an $8 ticket for students in sixth grade and under and senior citizens 55 and over. All tickets will be $12 at the door.
The tickets are available at I-S Elementary office, I-S Middle/High School office, I-S Community Fitness and Aquatic Center, Premier Community Bank in Iola, First National Bank in Iola and Silver Lake Lanes in Scandinavia.
