Stillman, Lloyd A.

Lloyd A. Stillman, age 85, of Weyauwega, passed away at his home in Weyauwega, on Thursday, February 4, 2016.

Lloyd was born at home on the family farm on May 3, 1930 to the late William and Rachel (Vought) Stillman. He lived his entire life in the Town of Weyauwega. Military service was with the US Army, 1947-1950. Lloyd farmed and also worked as a mason tender for Boldt Construction until he retired after many years of faithful service. He was a proud union member, and loved to point out all the buildings in the area that he built. Lloyd was a member of St. Peter Ev. Lutheran Church, Weyauwega for several years. He enjoyed going to auctions, spending time with family and shaking dice surrounded by his dear Weyauwega friends. The family extends their deep gratitude to Larry, Carl and many other friends of their uncle. Without their help, Lloyd would not have been able to remain in the comfort of his own home.

Lloyd’s memory will be cherished fondly by nephews, Jerry Brown and Terry Stillman, and nieces, Joyce Wilde (Brown), Judi Hubbard (Brown) and Jean Reiter (Brown). Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sisters.

A memorial service for Lloyd will be held on Monday, February 8, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, Weyauwega with Rev. Dan McCurdy officiating. Burial will be in the Oakwood Cemetery, Weyauwega. Visitation for Lloyd will be held at the church on Monday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service.
