It’s time to rearrange the trophy case at Waupaca High School again.

The school’s dance team won its 11th state championship since 2008 Feb. 6 at the state cheer/pom competition in La Crosse. Besides winning the Division 3 Pom competition for the fourth time in a row, the 26-member team also placed second in Division 2 Jazz.

Team members, along with the Waupaca Middle School dance team, performed for a final time this season Feb. 8 in the school gym.

Coach Amy Marcom said the squad finished 37 points ahead of second-place team New Berlin Eisenhower in the Pom event and only 1 1/2 points behind Prescott in the Jazz competition.

The team, which won all of its competitions this season before heading to state, had won Jazz state championships in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014 and 1015 and Pom titles in 2010, 2013, 2014 and 2015.

Team members are seniors Kira Mielke, Brooklyn Rohloff, Madison Hansen, Nikky Weise, Cheyenne Bennett, Claire Jungers and Kelsey Klismet; juniors Grace Koch, Caroline Ogden, Mackenzie Morey and Hannah Nasberg; sophomores Alyssa Townsend, Bella Udoni, Caitlin Kelly, Katie Schmidt, Sydney Erspamer, Rainy Von Gunten and Hanna Waller; and freshmen Alli Hansen, Sydney Hansen, Elianna Stanchik, Madie Gile, Shyla Kohollek, Delaney Chelberg, Eryn Butzin and Kali Revai.
