Bowen, Catherine “Kasha”

Catherine “Kasha” Bowen, age 70, of Princeton, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at her home.

She was born to Keith and Frances (Barnhardt) Bowen on March 6, 1945 in Wild Rose, WI. Catherine had currently been employed as a receptionist at Ripon Children’s Learning Center. She enjoyed working on crafts, painting, crocheting, and gardening.

Catherine is survived by her four children: Lisa Koschak of Princeton, Carrie (Tracy McKeever) Koschak of Princeton, James (Amanda) Koschak of Vesper, Mike (Lisa) Koschak of Wausau; her mother, Frances Bowen of Wild Rose; grandchildren: Jake (Michelle) Miller, Joe Koschak, Angela, Michael, and James Koschak; Amanda (Luke) Mitchell, Alecia (Reid) Raschke, Andrea Koschak; extended grandchildren: Asyia Schroeder, Allen, Mark, Anthony, and Mickey Soik; great-grandchildren, Kaidance Nicholson, Bryden and Kysen Miller; three sisters, Janet (Norm) Strehlow of Poy Sippi, Tori (Jeff) Straw of Wild Rose, Lori (Bruce) Peterson of Byron, MN; brother, Dave (Kathy) Bowen of Wild Rose; many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Keith Bowen.

A funeral service for Catherine Bowen will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2016, at 3:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m., at the Wachholz and Sons Funeral Home, 303 W. Harvard St., in Princeton. Pastor Robert Busse will conduct the service. Catherine will be laid to rest in the Oak Hill Cemetery in Wild Rose at a later date.
