Mary Lou Becker, age 89, of Clintonville, formerly of Waupaca, passed away on Monday, February 29, 2016 at Theda Care Medical Center – Shawano.
She was born on January 29, 1927, a daughter of the late Harold and Clarice (Churchill) Harrington. Mary Lou worked as a bookkeeper for Harrington Shoes and then Becker Marine. She had been a member of the Waupaca Country Club and the Waupaca Curling Club. She enjoyed antiquing, cooking, golf and curling.
Survivors include her children: Bruce (fiancée – Susan McAllister) Becker, Waupaca; Brian (Spencer Thompson) Becker, Oklahoma City, OK and Barbara (John) Hoffman, Appleton; grandchildren, Ryan Hoffman, Milwaukee and Kirsta Hoffman, Green Bay; nieces: Sharon Peterson, Waupaca; Lori Vanalstine, Waupaca and Carol Putman, North East, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
As per Mary Lou’s wishes, there will be no services held. The Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
