JoAnn Krueger, age 71 of the Township of Matteson, Waupaca County, passed peacefully into her Father’s Heavenly grace in the loving presence of her husband and sons on March 6, 2016.
JoAnn was born as the daughter of the late Victor and LaVerne (Hanson) Bricco on September 10, 1944 in New London. She was raised in Bear Creek and Clintonville. JoAnn graduated from Clintonville High School in 1962. She was united in holy matrimony to Jerome Russell Krueger on September 12, 1963. JoAnn lived near Clintonville with her husband her entire life and enjoyed visiting with her grandchildren, gardening, celebrating and decorating for the holidays, going to Florida in the winters, and fishing.
JoAnn was a beautiful example of a life well lived and will forever be cherished in the lives of her husband, Jerome; children and grandchildren: Jason (Meghan) Krueger, grandsons Caiden and Kai Krueger and Jesse (Wendy) Krueger, grandsons Kaleb and Trystan, and granddaughters Shyra and Reyna; siblings: Jennie (John) Johnson, Patricia Bricco Trieglaff, Don Bricco, Dick Bricco, Linda (Dave) Myers, Dennis (Brenda) Bricco, Lucinda (Henry) Kelley, and Mary Jo (Jeff) Johnson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Rosalee (David) Harney, Wallace (Sally) Krueger, Sandy (Duane) Mitchell, and Wayne Poole. She also has a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. JoAnn was preceded in death by her father Victor Bricco, her mother LaVerne Bricco, and her twin sister LeAnn Poole.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, March 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church in Clintonville with Rev. Jack Mullarkey officiating. Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in the Town of Matteson. Friends may call at the church on Thursday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established by JoAnn’s family. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory of Clintonville is assisting her family with the arrangements.
