Charles A. “Chuck” Teske, age 76 of Poy Sippi, WI passed away on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Wisconsin Veterans Home in King.
Chuck was born on August 29, 1939, the son of the late Archibald and Constance (Matke) Teske in Stevens Point, WI. Chuck enlisted in the United States Navy on June 13, 1957 in Chicago, IL and was honorably discharged on August 26, 1960 in Noffett Field, CA. His mechanical skills led him thru life’s opportunities. Chuck worked at Waupaca Foundry as machine maintenance until retiring in 1998. Chuck married Kate Werner on August 29, 1993. Chuck was a member of the First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi, lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans, Redgranite Chapter 51, Redgranite Amvets Post 13 and Poy Sippi Betterment Committee. He took great joy in working with his hands and volunteer work with church and the community.
Chuck is survived by his wife, Kate Teske and his living legacy includes his children: Timothy (Cyndi) Teske, Theresa Teske, Todd Teske, Ryan (Chris) Burg, Cara (fiancé Ray) Burg; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; brother, Robert (Janet) Teske; Team Chuck; Jill, Bonnie, Pauline; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Lou and first wife, Katherine Riemer.
The family would like to thank the staff at MacArthur Hall, 3rd floor in King and Theda Care Hospice for their loving care of Chuck.
Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 19th at First Lutheran Church in Poy Sippi, WI. Pastor Paul Brinkman is officiating. Gathering of friends and family following the service at church. Holly Funeral Home of Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
