Miliamae L. Schuh, age 73, of Hortonville, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Kindred Hearts in Greenville in the presence of her loving family.
Mila was born on October 13, 1942 to the late Clarence and Ethyl (Collins) Thurber in Laona, WI. On July 31, 1971, Mila was united in marriage to James Schuh. She lived all her life in the Appleton and Hortonville area and attended grade school in Appleton and graduated from Appleton West High School. Mila worked several jobs, however, the work she enjoyed the most was with the elderly as a CNA and at the meal site where she was the manager. Mila enjoyed fishing at the cottage and also sewing, crafting, wood working and her flower gardens. She most enjoyed time with her grandchildren and was very proud of them all.
Mila is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Deb (Bob) Stoeger, Medina; sons, Jeff (Juli) Schuh, Hortonville and Troy Schuh (special friend Sharon), Port Orange FL; grandchildren, Chase and Shauna Stoeger, Conor and Cole Schuh, Justin (Katie) Schuh and Kaitlin Schuh; great-grandson, Dean Michael Schuh; sister, Judy Lemke; sisters-in-law, Shirley Thurber, Kathy Breed, Joan (Jim) Lindner, Carolyn (Ron) Houfek, Joyce (Mike) Pillar, Nancy Ryan and Biddy Schuh; two special nieces, Dawn Boettcher and Trudi Petit and numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mila is preceded in death by her parents.
The family of Mila would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Kindred Hearts for the special care they gave Mila.
As per Mila’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. The Borchardt Moder Funeral Home in Hortonville is serving the family.
